The Stone House Inn is a renovated 1907 stone home located on the western slope of Colorado in the heart of historic Crawford. The Inn offers three beautiful and tastefully appointed guest units, all with private entrance and bath.
The Stone House Inn is not a traditional Bed & Breakfast, nor is it a run-of-the-mill motel. As an Inn, we specialize in providing you an exceptional lodging experience but leave the meal preparations to area restaurateurs. Crawford features three satisfying and distinctly different dining options. Our on-site innkeeper is available to help assure that your stay is a pleasant and restful one. Unlike at many Bed and Breakfast establishments your space is your own and you do not share it with other guests or the innkeeper. Two of our guest rooms are pet friendly, while our guest suite is pet-free.
About our rooms…
Room 1.
Room 1 is the larger of our standard rooms and features a beautiful wooden four-post queen-size bed, a comfortable love seat (that can fold out to accommodate a third party), an armoire, tea table, nightstand with reading light, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The bathroom sports a spacious walk-in shower. For your enjoyment, we provide a flat screen television and DVD player, as well as a good selection of movies. For the convenience of guests traveling with laptop computers, we offer free wireless Internet access in all rooms.
Room 2.
Room 2 features antique and fine reproduction furniture. The bed is a four-post, queen-size wooden bed. This room also provides an armchair, a washstand/nightstand, dresser, refrigerator, microwave and coffeepot, and the bathroom sports an antique iron clawfoot tub with shower – the perfect place for a relaxing bath after a day of exploring the area’s wonders. To wind down, enjoy one of the many movies provided with your room’s flat screen TV and DVD player. Rooms 1 & 2 are accessed directly from the front porch. The porch features an iron bench, bistro table and chairs and plenty of fresh flowers in the planters!
Guest Suite – Room 3.
Our Guest Suite features a spacious bedroom with a queen-size iron bed, fold out sofa, ceiling fan, exposed sandstone wall, built-in bookshelves with a selection of reading materials, movies, and a 32” flat screen television. The bedroom opens onto a private deck with table, chairs and umbrella. The deck overlooks a stream, trees and local wildlife (guests report viewing deer, muskrat, beaver, and on very rare occasions, a black bear!). The suite offers a well-equipped full kitchen, a small dining area, and a master bath with glassed-in shower and separate two-person jetted tub.
Room Joining Options!
Units 1 and 3, Units 2 and 3, or all three units can be joined together by unlocking the adjoining doors. Ask us about special rates for multiple room rentals!

A romantic escape, as a restful home base for exploring the vineyards, wineries, organic farms, natural and cultural wonders of the North Fork Valley, as a headquarters for visiting local friends and family, as a comfortable hunting camp during the fall hunting seasons, and sometimes just for a relaxing “down day” between other stops on a tour of Colorado.
